Chief Executive Officer
Rick Dean serves as CEO of Oncology Analytics. Mr. Dean brings more than two decades of experience to Oncology Analytics, including successfully leading and growing innovative healthcare companies through various stages of maturation. Mr. Dean joined Oncology Analytics from Optum, the healthcare services arm of UnitedHealth Group. At Optum, Mr. Dean was a founding member of Optum Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on digital health innovation. Prior to Optum Ventures, he led global sales and growth for Optum Analytics.
Mr. Dean joined Optum after the acquisition of Humedica, a transformative population health and analytics company, where he was the company’s Chief Growth Officer. Prior to Humedica, Mr. Dean was Senior Vice President of North American sales for Sentillion, a highly successful venture-backed healthcare company that was acquired by Microsoft in 2010. Mr. Dean is a past board member of AMGA Analytics, the informatics subsidiary of the American Medical Group Association.
Mr. Dean earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of North Carolina.
Ashley Brevda, Esq.
Corporate Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer
As Corporate Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Oncology Analytics, Ashley’s focus includes providing leadership for the company’s legal and regulatory affairs and corporate governance activities, advising on compliance matters under state and federal laws, including HIPAA, directing legal strategy and overseeing outside counsel.
Ashley earned her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and is a member of the Health Law Section of the Florida Bar, the American Health Lawyers Association, Association for Corporate Counsel and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. She serves as a Trustee and Young Leader Society Co-Chair of the Jewish Woman’s Foundation of Greater Palm Beaches and was recognized by the Palm Beach County Bar Association for her pro bono service.
Ashley graduated from the Honors Program at the University of Florida cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in business administration.
Chief Growth Officer
As Chief Growth Officer, Mike leads Oncology Analytics sales strategies for the health plan and pharmacy benefit management markets.
Prior to joining Oncology Analytics, Mike was the Senior Vice President of Sales for VisionWare, a health IT company recognized by Gartner as one of the leading Master Data Management companies for health plans and providers in the US and Europe. Mike was responsible for managing a global team of sales professionals and leading all business development, strategic planning and sales execution.
Prior to VisionWare Mike was the Senior Vice President of North American Sales for Caradigm, a subsidiary of GE Healthcare. Before Caradigm, Mike led the sales team for Microsoft’s Health Solutions Group, where he was recognized as the top sales leader for two consecutive years.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Indiana University.
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Jim leads the Accounting, Finance and Treasury functions for the organization. He brings over 25 years of Finance, Operational and Strategic experience to Oncology Analytics.
Most recently Jim was the CFO at Optum Analytics, a division of Optum, where he directed financial management and reporting and operational improvements as well as growth strategies. Prior to Optum, Jim has held senior finance roles at venture-backed healthcare companies including Humedica, acquired by Optum and Sentillion, acquired by Microsoft.
Jim is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), holds an MBA from Babson College, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Salem State University.
President of Life Sciences
Steve leads Oncology Analytics’ Real-World Evidence practice, working closely with partners to generate insights and conduct comparative effectiveness research around novel oncology treatments. He comes to the organization from Optum, the healthcare services arm of UnitedHealth Group, where he served as Senior Vice President of Life Sciences. He joined Optum as part of the Humedica acquisition where as a member of the founding team, he led the Life Sciences division. Steve also served as Vice President of Product Management for Verispan (now part of IQVIA) and Director of Operations at Prognosis, a joint venture between Pfizer and CVS. He began his healthcare informatics career at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center leading Quality Measurement activities for Matthew Thorton Health Plan. Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Tennessee.
Vice President, Operations
Danielle Fishman, co-founder of Oncology Analytics, has contributed to the company’s growth through her strong leadership in operations and business acumen. In the early years, Danielle was responsible for Oncology Analytics’ business development, including compliance, accreditation, accounting, human resources, marketing and provider relations.
Today, Danielle’s role has expanded to drive operations, efficiency and cross functional collaboration companywide, in the US and Puerto Rico with Oncology Analytics sister company Soluciones Analiticas de Salud.
Danielle holds a Bachelor’s degree in hospitality administration from Boston University.
Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, David brings more than two decades of leadership experience in building market leading, big data analytics solutions for health plans, providers, and life science organizations.
Prior to joining Oncology Analytics, David held the position of chief technology officer and co-founder of TriNetX, where he developed the product design, technology architecture, and provider adoption model for a global big data and analytics network that optimizes clinical trial design and recruitment while enabling discoveries through the creation of real-world evidence. Before TriNetX, Fusari served as chief technology officer at Ability Network, a healthcare revenue cycle management, and claims processing provider, and Sentillion, where he designed the company’s purpose-built for healthcare identity and access management solution, which was rated Best in KLAS for multiple years. Sentillion was acquired by Microsoft, where Fusari served as an executive and principal architect in the health solutions group.
David is an inventor on 19 patents and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Bryant University.
Senior Vice President, Marketing
As head of marketing, Jennifer is responsible for corporate marketing, public relations and brand management. Jennifer has a wide range of marketing communications experience building brand value for healthcare technology, life sciences and digital health start-ups. Most recently, Jennifer served as a member of TriNetX’s executive team, where she led the Company’s worldwide marketing function. During her 4-year tenure, the company grew to be the largest global health research network and was acquired by The Carlyle Group in 2020. Jennifer has also held senior marketing positions with Microsoft, Sentillion (Microsoft), Aventura (Philips Healthcare) and Guardent (VeriSign). She earned a Bachelor of Public Communications degree from American University.
Senior Vice President, Human Resources
As the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Shay leads all talent related functions including employee relations, compensation, employee benefits, talent acquisition and facilities. She has over 20 years of leadership experience in a variety of industries, including high technology, financial services, and healthcare, and has worked in all areas of HR driving change throughout organizations and HR teams. Ms. Hurst most recently worked for LexisNexis Risk Solutions, a data and advanced analytics provider, where she was the senior HR business partner for the healthcare and government businesses, and customer operations.
Shay earned a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Xavier University and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from Wright State University. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and designated as a Registered Corporate Coach (RCC).
Senior Vice President, Client Services
Kathy oversees all client-facing functions including the Client Success and Implementation, Provider Relations, and Case Review Specialist teams. She works closely with Sales and Product Management to onboard new customers while expanding existing customer relationships in the US and Puerto Rico. Kathy comes to Oncology Analytics from LexisNexis Risk Solutions where she led diverse analytics and delivery teams to support employee engagement, increase client satisfaction, ensure excellence in product performance, and develop new innovations serving clients. Kathy also held leadership positions with Elsevier Gold Standard where she was responsible for delivery and customer support of electronic prescription and drug utilization management services in both the government and commercial health care markets.
Kathy holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) and Bachelor of Arts (BA), Psychology and Biology, both from University of South Florida. She is also a Certified Medicaid Professional from the MCMP-II Medicaid Learning Center.
Andrew Norden, MD, MPH, MBA
Chief Medical Officer
As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Norden leads Oncology Analytics’ clinical team and strategy. An accomplished neuro-oncologist, Dr. Norden previously served as Chief Medical Officer of COTA, an oncology company focused on the curation and use of real-world data and evidence for cancer care and research. Before COTA, Dr. Norden served as Deputy Chief Health Officer and lead physician for oncology and genomics at IBM Watson Health.
Before moving to IBM, Dr. Norden held several positions at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, including Associate Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director of Satellites and Network Affiliates. During his time at Dana Farber, Dr. Norden led clinical trials for patients with glioma, meningioma, and seizures in brain tumor patients. He is the author of more than 65 peer-reviewed papers. He is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Society for Neuro-Oncology, and he is an Associate Editor of JCO-Clinical Cancer Informatics.
Dr. Norden attended medical school at Yale School of Medicine before moving to Boston for residency training at Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women’s Hospitals. After serving as Chief Resident, he completed a neuro-oncology fellowship at Dana-Farber. Dr. Norden also earned a Masters of Public Health degree from the Harvard University School of Public Health and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He received his undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Brown University.
Chief Analytics Officer
Brian has dedicated his career to creating health information growth strategies for a variety of healthcare companies, which range in size and scope.
Prior to joining Oncology Analytics as the Chief Analytics Officer, Brian was the Senior Vice President of Analytics for Cotiviti, a $650m revenue company and a leading provider of analytics-driven payment accuracy solutions, focused on the health plan market. Under Brian’s oversight, he guided the analytics business through a large merger and IPO, which delivered hundreds of millions of dollars of client value.
Brian joined Cotiviti through the sale of RevenueMed, a groundbreaking revenue cycle management company, where he was the company’s founder and CEO. Prior to RevenueMed, Brian was a 20+ year partner in the healthcare business at Accenture, a leading management consulting company, where he focused on medical informatics and clinical information systems.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering (operations research) from Northwestern University. He is also active in supporting research to advance the treatment of pediatric brain tumors.
Senior Vice President, Product Management
As Senior Vice President of Product, Sara is responsible for the strategy and execution of our product portfolio that contributes to market share growth, new revenue streams and differentiated solutions across the markets that we serve.
She has a proven track record in product management and the successful launch of new products. Prior to joining Oncology Analytics, Sara was the VP of Product Management for SPH Analytics, a leader in healthcare analytics and population health management.
Prior to SPH, Sara served as the VP of Clinical Operations and Product Development at Life Line Screening and Community Healthcare, a nationwide provider of healthcare screenings and Medicare preventive services. She led all facets of clinical operations, quality assurance, and product development and launched over 15 products including nationwide businesses for point-of-care laboratory testing, Health Risk Assessments and Medicare Annual Wellness Visits.
Sara earned her Master of Business Administration and Master of Public Health, Epidemiology, both from Emory University, and her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Northwestern University.
